State Treasurer Roby Smith Encourages Iowans to Learn About IAble for ABLE to Save Month

ABLE to Save Month is in full swing and Iowa State Treasurer Roby Smith is encouraging all Iowans to learn more about IAble (Iowa's Achieving a Better Life Experience plan) and the advantages it brings to eligible people with a disability.

"IAble can make a huge difference and help people with disabilities achieve a better life experience," said Treasurer Smith. "Whether they're saving for today's or tomorrow's expenses, this is an important tool that helps people save without jeopardizing the benefits they count on."

ABLE to Save Month is a national education and outreach campaign dedicated to highlighting the benefits of ABLE accounts, like IAble. The month-long event aims to provide information to families and support systems to ensure they're aware of benefits they may not know about.

Currently, there are more than 4,100 active open IAble accounts. For more information visit IAble.gov.
