The NCUA Board will hold its next public meeting on Thursday, July 24, at 10 am.
Key agenda items for the meeting include:
In a statement, Board Chair Kyle Hauptman outlined the agenda: "Our July Board meeting will provide updates on the Central Liquidity Facility, which provides members a critical liquidity backstop during periods of financial uncertainty, and highlights from the recently published 2024 Ombudsman Annual Report. Additionally, we're working towards capturing information and new insights on the use of AI within the credit union space. As always our mission is to protect the safety and soundness of the credit union system, and we are best equipped to do this when we understand how credit unions interact with new technology and products."
The meeting will be the second held since President Trump fired the Board's two Democratic members, Todd Harper and Tanya Otsuka, in April.
