Ohio Inspector General Issues 2025 Annual Report

This morning, Inspector General Randall Meyer released the Office of the Ohio Inspector General 2025 Annual Report. The report outlines the mission and responsibilities of the Inspector General's Office; examines the office's complaint and investigative processes and related statistics; and cites summaries of several notable investigations released from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. As required by statute, the annual report has been presented to the governor and each member of the Ohio General Assembly.

Since 2011, the first year of Meyer's appointment as Ohio Inspector General, the office has released 811 reports of investigation, issued 1,628 recommendations to agencies, and identified over $1/4 billion lost to the State of Ohio.
