Colorado Christian University Launches New Career-Focused Undergraduate Programs

LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Colorado Christian University (CCU) has launched a slate of new undergraduate programs through its College of Undergraduate Studies, designed to equip students for leadership in high-demand fields. These new offerings expand opportunities for students to pursue careers in business, technology, the arts, and public service, while receiving a rigorous, Christ-centered education.

As demand grows for leaders of integrity and character in rapidly evolving fields like data analytics, technology, and criminal justice, CCU is expanding its academic portfolio to meet both workforce needs and the demands of a changing culture.

"At Colorado Christian University, we are committed to equipping students with both the professional skills and the spiritual formation necessary to lead lives of purpose and influence," said Eric Hogue, President of Colorado Christian University. "These new programs reflect our continued commitment to preparing graduates who will engage culture thoughtfully and lead with conviction."

The new programs are designed to address critical needs across several key areas:

Business and Data Analytics: A new Business Analytics major and minor equip students with the skills to analyze complex data, inform strategic decision-making, and lead effectively in today's data-driven economy.

Technology and Innovation: A new Computer Science and Software Engineering major prepares students for careers in software development, programming, and emerging technologies, equipping them to navigate an increasingly digital world.

Creative Arts and Communication: A Music Theatre major provides students with comprehensive training in acting, singing, and performance within a Christ-centered creative environment.

Public Service and Justice: A Criminal Justice Law and Practice major and minor prepare students for careers in law enforcement, legal studies, and community leadership, emphasizing justice, ethics, and service.

Global Engagement and Worship Leadership: New minors in Spanish and Worship Arts equip students to communicate effectively across cultures and lead with excellence in ministry and worship settings.

"Through SCEPS, Colorado Christian University advances mission by uniting wisdom with practice, forming graduates whose educational formation yields professional excellence, leadership, and strategic impact across vocations in service to Christ," said Dr. David Corbin, Provost of Colorado Christian University.

"These additions represent an intentional expansion of opportunities for undergraduate students while maintaining the academic rigor and Christ-centered mission that define CCU," said Dr. Neal Anderson, Vice President of Student Life & Traditional Enrollment at Colorado Christian University. "We are excited to introduce new programs that help students discover their calling, deepen their knowledge, and develop the character to lead and serve with excellence in their fields."

Applications for these programs are now open, with courses delivered through CCU's undergraduate format designed to support students in their academic and spiritual development.
