The College of the Florida Keys Basic Law Enforcement Academy on Wednesday graduated the most recent class of new officers at the Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center. Among those in Class #93 were nine recruits sponsored by the Key West Police Department: Jhavon Williams, Bradley "Chase" Fox, Mike Jakubowski, Tanika Storey, Aaron Dixon, Danielle Fasulo, Chris Cahill, Matthew Herrington, and Steve Anderson,
"I want to congratulate each of you for the hard and sometimes grueling effort to get to this point tonight," said Key West Police Chief Sean Brandenburg in his address to the new officers. "This is the beginning of a challenging and rewarding career. Your role is to protect and serve, and one of our most important duties as law enforcement officers is to earn and maintain the public's trust and confidence."
