Shipment Volume on New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor Sees Significant Growth

At the beginning of the New Year 2026, the Chongqing Tuanjie Village Railway Container Center Station is bustling with activity. In the first two days of the New Year holiday, nearly 500 TEUs of export cargo were shipped from here, representing a significant year-on-year increase of 128%, achieving a strong start to the new year.

The goods shipped during the holiday period primarily consisted of mechanical and electrical products manufactured in Chongqing, covering traditional competitive commodities such as complete vehicles, automotive and motorcycle parts, and laptop computer components. These "Chongqing-made" products board the rail-sea intermodal trains or the China-Laos-Thailand international railway intermodal trains, heading south efficiently towards markets in ASEAN countries.
