On 6 July 2026, Minsk hosted another round of Belarusian-Uzbek consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers. The Belarusian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pavel Utyupin, whilst the Uzbek delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bobur Usmanov.
During the consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues relating to cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and outlined key areas for strengthening this cooperation.
The participants in the consultations paid particular attention to cooperation between the two countries in international forums, including the CIS, the EAEU, the UN, the SCO and the OSCE.
On the same day, B.Usmanov was received by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the state of bilateral dialogue, reaffirmed the intention of the two countries' foreign ministries to actively promote the deepening of the strategic partnership between Belarus and Uzbekistan, and discussed preparations for upcoming events and visits.
