Engage in faction-driven warfare.
In this special version of the Conqueror mode, players will find special faction themed shrines across the map. Activating these shrines grants powerful combat orbs, each tied to a specific StarCraft faction:
Only orbs matching the faction you selected before the match will drop during gameplay.
Conqueror will also feature weekly faction-based leaderboards, with players choosing their faction prior to each match and competing for ranking within that faction.
Permanent Update:
All players will have access to all eight gear slots. Players who have not yet unlocked the final two slots will have default gear automatically equipped in those slots.
Dealing damage conjures three Banelings who roll towards enemies and explode, covering nearby enemies in acid for 2 seconds that deals damage equal to 10% of your base damage per second and increases the damage affected enemies take from you by 35%. Cannot conjure Banelings more than once every 6 seconds. You also deal 6% increased damage to enemies suffering a continual damage effect.

The following modes will rotate throughout the event, each contributing to your progress:
Earn progress by engaging in these activities while they are active to maximize your rewards before the veil lifts.
Versatile Rings will become a permanent improvement to Ring Drops and no longer just a limited time event.
Following this update, all 3+2 and 3+3 quality Rings obtained through any means will feature a versatile socket, allowing Gems of any color to be socketed into them. The versatile socket is only available on newly acquired qualifying Rings.
We want to ensure that you feel that the time you're spending in Battlegrounds feels just as rewarding as the time you spend the open world of Diablo Immortal, so we're making an adjustment to the rewards!
We're increasing the rewards across the board by roughly 50-100% in some areas, like Gold and Gear Portions, adding Normal Gems (1 per run) to BG Participation, and giving a slight increase to the drop rate of more valuable gear.
Your first 3 Runs will still be the most rewarding, with a step down after those 3 runs, but both prize pools are getting a buff. Normal Gems earned in Battleground share the same cap as 4-Player Activities.
Monster Families stick together. Now, when you're facing an enemy pack made up of one monster family, there is a chance to spawn a commander who will organize their underlings to protect and attack in formation.
You'll need to take out the underlings before you're able to take on the Commander!
We're making changes intended to reduce system complexity and provide a more streamlined path to increasing power as you progress through Sanctuary.
After this update, at Hell 1 difficulty, players can obtain and craft all 16 set items.
The drop rate for each individual set item remains unchanged before and after the adjustment. However, now that all difficulties have the same amount of set items in their drop pool, the overall set item drop rate for lower difficulties is being increased to match the drop rate of higher difficulties.
All Legendary gear reward selection screens have been updated with a Battle Pass-style layout featuring enhanced labels for easier comparison between owned and unowned items, and an added class selection dropdown.
The Cosmetics Backpack has been improved to make browsing and managing your collection more intuitive.
Quality-of-life improvements have been added for Ephemeral Treasure interactions. Players are now redirected directly to the Treasure activation screen after seasonal purchase. Tooltips now highlight other treasures within the same set. Reactivated Ephemeral Treasures now feature a distinct visual glow in the Inventory.
The Realm of Damnation and select previous main quest content now support Hell and Inferno Difficulty.
A new onboarding experience has been added to help players enter Battlegrounds more easily. At Level 46, first-time participation grants a Battleground Intro Quest. This Covers core rules, objectives, and flow of combat.
The next Bout of Realms Tournament is coming soon! Registration takes place between May 27th and 31st, points matches will take place between June 1st and 6th, and the finals will take place between June 8th and 14th. Keep an eye out for more details coming next week!
