Grinding of Roadways Scheduled on SR 316 Eastbound and Westbound

WHAT: Grinding of the roadways will begin Sept. 23 on State Route (SR) 316/Atlanta Highway between Harry McCarty Road and Harrison Mill Road. Traffic will be paced and flagged during this operation. Motorists should use caution while driving through the area.

WHEN: Monday, Sept. 23 to Saturday, Sept. 28, beginning at 8 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the following day.

WHERE: Eastbound and westbound on SR 316 and SR between Harry McCarty Road and Harrison Mill Road.

Advisory: Exact dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions by calling 511, visiting 511ga.org, or downloading the Georgia 511 app.
