Murfreesboro Christmas Parade: This Sunday, December 14 at 2pm!

The second Sunday in December tradition continues and the 2025 Murfreesboro Christmas Parade, "A Sweet Christmas" will take place on Sunday, December 14 at 2 pm. This is one of Murfreesboro's most heartwarming traditions, as floats, bands and dancers march their way down Main Street in celebration of the cherished holiday season.

The Grand Marshal of the 2025 Murfreesboro Christmas Parade is Mr. Bill Allen, Navy Veteran , D-Day survivor and hometown hero!

The end of the parade will include none other than the man of the season- Santa Claus and his sleigh.

The parade route officially starts at the intersection of East Main Street and Middle Tennessee Boulevard. It will make its way around the downtown square and ends at East Main Street and Walnut Street.

Road Closure Information:

  • E. Main Street from Womack to Walnut St will be closed beginning at 1 PM until the parade is over. (5 PM at latest)
  • N. Walnut St between W. Vine and W. College will be closed at 2 PM until the parade is over.
  • Detours off Middle TN Blvd at E. Lytle St and E. Vine St from 1 PM until parade passes (by 3 PM)
  • All of Alumni Dr will be closed beginning at 9 AM
