WASHINGTON, DC - Today, U.S. Representative August Pfluger (TX-11) released a report on constituent services and legislative wins for the year. Congressman Pfluger was sworn in to represent the 11th District of Texas on January 3, 2021. He is committed to re-establishing energy dominance, securing the southern border, advocating for farmers and ranchers, and fighting for military communities and families in the 11th District of Texas.
In the 118th Congress, Congressman Pfluger authored 100 pieces of legislation and cosponsored over 300. Seven pieces of Pfluger authored legislation passed the U.S. House of Representatives, with one piece of legislation being signed into law by the President-results much higher than the average representative. These bills re-establish American energy dominance, secure the southern border, end inflation, bolster U.S. telecommunications networks, halt illegal voting, protect the rights of law-abiding gun owners, aid Texas agricultural producers, reduce reliance on China, protect the lives of unborn babies and mothers, strengthen our armed forces, and more.

Since being sworn in, Congressman Pfluger's office has returned over $10 million to constituents and solved over 3,500 constituent cases involving federal agencies.
Congressman Pfluger has made himself regularly available to the public by visiting all 20 counties in the 11th District, hosting 100 in-person public events, sending weekly e-newsletters, holding regular telephone town hall meetings, attending countless community events, and responding to 25,000 constituent inquiries in 2024.
Other highlights from 2024 include:
· Elected Republican Study Committee Chairman (RSC) by congressional colleagues in Washington. Pfluger will lead the largest caucus of conservatives on Capitol Hill for the upcoming 119th Congress.
· Hosted House Speaker Mike Johnson in the Permian Basin along with numerous other members of Congress for energy industry tours and roundtables.
· Stood up for Texas farmers and ranchers to receive necessary disaster aid in the 118th Congress.
· Voted to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for the crisis at the southern border and served as an Impeachment Manager.
