Tragic Helicopter Crash: NPA Chief Executive lays flowers in memory of crash victims

The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo (Esq.), has laid flowers in honour of eight officials who tragically lost their lives in a military helicopter crash on Wednesday, August 6.

In a sombre mood, Mr. Tamkelo led the management and staff from the NPA to lay the flowers at the ceremonial gardens of the Flagstaff House to mark the three-day national remembrance and mourning programme declared by the presidency.

The NPA prays for the souls of the departed to rest peacefully.

The Authority also prays that in this difficult time, the Almighty God will grant the bereaved families the strength and comfort they need.
We hold dear the memories of our fallen heroes, and may their souls rest in eternal peace.

The crash occurred when a military helicopter transporting senior government officials from Accra to Obuasi went down at the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region under yet-to-be-confirmed circumstances. Personalities onboard were:

Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence; Hon.
