One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Mariposa County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Brooks Road for shoulder work on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Schilling Road to Crown Lead Road for shoulder on Tuesday, March 3, and Thursday, March 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

State Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Mount Bullion Cutoff to Aqua Fria Road for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, March 3, through Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
