Get broken items fixed for free during Repair Cafe OC event March 22

The public can bring broken items to fix on the spot with the help of voluntary fixers during the Repair Cafe OC event from 3:30 to 7:30 pm on Sunday, March 22 in the Sycamore B Room at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

This initiative promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things away. Bring your broken lamps, bikes with a wobble or jeans with a hole - and repair volunteers will help you fix them.

Volunteers are sought from 3 to 8 pm for the categories: sewing and textiles, computers and tinkers (small appliance). To sign up as a volunteer, fill out this form.

Neighbors with items in need of repair don't need to pre-register. All items are repaired on a walk-in basis. See the FAQs page to understand the repair process.
