Retirement plan workshop on April 22

Human Resources is offering a quarterly retirement workshop from 12 - 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 to help employees feel confident and prepared when approaching retirement. The session is designed for those a few years away as well as those actively planning, bringing key resources together in one convenient setting.

Retirement experts will present on:

  • PERSI retirement planning
  • Optional Retirement Planning (ORP) readiness through Fidelity
  • Medicare education provided by SHIBA

The workshop will help simplify retirement planning by providing clear information and practical guidance.

This in-person event is open to Boise State employees and spouses age 55 and older who are nearing retirement. Signage will be available to direct attendees to the Lookout room on the third floor of the Student Union Building.
