The City of Torrance is excited to announce the launch of the Torrance Passport, a new citywide initiative designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore, dine, and experience the City's diverse international culture and cuisine.
Taking place March 26 through April 26, 2026, the Torrance Passport encourages participants to "Dine, Discover, and Enjoy" Torrance through visits to local restaurants, cultural arts events, libraries, and community destinations, showcasing the unique experience that define the city.
Torrance Passports are available at all six Torrance Public Libraries, Torrance City Hall, and the California Welcome Center at Del Amo Fashion Center. The program is simple and accessible: participants self-attest visits by recording the date and location, no stamps required. Completed passports must be submitted to the California Welcome Center by 7:00 PM on April 26, 2026 to be entered into a prize drawing.
As part of the program, participants can also enjoy a variety of upcoming signature events, including the Torrance Art Museum's Ralph Steadman Exhibit opening March 28, the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Columbia Park on March 29, and Bunka-Sai, hosted by the Torrance Sister City Association April 18 and 19.
Participants are encouraged to share their experiences on social media using #TorrancePassport and #WhyTorrance. Each qualifying post earns an additional entry into the drawing, increasing chances to win.
Thanks to the collaboration with Discover Torrance, the City's official tourism bureau who will host the Torrance Passport Drawing Event at 9:30 AM on May 4, 2026 at the California Welcome Center at Del Amo Fashion Center. Winners do not need to be present.
