Rep. John McGuire hosts Acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling for tour of UVA Health

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - On Tuesday, Representative John McGuire hosted Acting United States Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling for a tour of UVA Health in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Representative McGuire and Acting Secretary Sonderling toured the Emergency Department gaining insight into the "Earn While You Learn" workforce programs offered by the health system.

"Virginia's Fifth Congressional District is home to some of America's strongest and most dedicated workforce," said Rep. John McGuire (VA-05). "From the farmers putting food on our tables, to law enforcement officers protecting our communities, folks in the logging community that provide lumber to build our homes, and several universities and hospitals, we are blessed to be home to some of the best and brightest. I was honored to host Acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling for a tour of UVA Health to meet the incredible men and women keeping our communities healthy.
