General Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Air Force Brig. Gen. Barbra S. Buls for appointment to the grade of major general. Buls is currently serving as commander, Air National Guard Readiness Center, National Guard Bureau, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Air Force Brig. Gen. Daniel D. Boyack for appointment to the grade of major general. Boyack is currently serving as adjutant general, Utah National Guard, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Air Force Brig. Gen. David B. Johnson for appointment to the grade of major general. Johnson is currently serving as assistant adjutant general, Ohio Air National Guard Headquarters, Columbus, Ohio.

Air Force Brig. Gen. Ricky L. Mills for appointment to the grade of major general. Mills is currently serving as assistant deputy under secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, Office of the Under Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Patric D. Coggin for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Coggin is currently serving as commander, 189th Airlift Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Air Force Col. Jacob L. Hammons for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Hammons is currently serving as chief, Director's Action Group, Office of the Director of the Air National Guard, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Daniel S. Zevitz for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Zevitz is currently serving as directorate judge advocate, Office of the General Counsel, National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Virginia.
