The Colorado Springs City Council today received the Mayor's proposed 2027 City Budget, kicking off its review and approval process for the coming fiscal year.
Under the City Charter, Council approves the annual budget by ordinance, with or without amendment.
Council invites residents to share feedback at a Public Hearing on Monday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at Colorado Springs City Hall, 107 North Nevada Avenue.
City Council Timeline for 2027 Budget:
*The City Charter requires the Mayor to deliver the proposed budget to City Council on or before the first Monday in October.
All meetings and hearings will be held in City Council Chambers. They are open to the public and can be seen on SpringsTV, Comcast Channel 18 and 880 (HD), StratusIQ Channel 99 (Streaming), and on the Colorado Springs City Council Facebook Page.
