Call for tender: A sustainable future for European blue food

Biodiversa+ has announced a new call for tender and is seeking a subcontractor to conduct aknowledge synthesis on the biodiversity and social impacts of European blue food production and consumption chains. The review will focus on three blue food species-cod, salmon, and shrimp-and will address environmental and social impacts within the broader context of global food systems and supply chains.

This review will contribute to the Biodiversa+ flagships:

  • Supporting protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystem across land and sea
  • Better transnational monitoring of biodiversity to better characterize, understand and report on biodiversity dynamics and trends

Application

The deadline to apply for this call is 27 January 2025 , at midnight (CET).

All applications should be submitted in English and sent by email to Joseph LANGRIDGE (joseph.langridgefondationbiodiversite.fr(joseph[dot]langridge[at]fondationbiodiversite[dot]fr)), with Marlies LAETHEM (marlies[dot] laethembelspo[dot] be(marlies[dot]laethem[at]belspo[dot]be)) in copy.

The FRB will appoint the third-party service provider after the evaluation process on 7 February 2025.
