Based in Sparks, Quick Space/United Rentals has become a valued supporter of WNC students through investments that extend beyond campus events and sponsorship recognition.
Success in higher education is often built on more than determination alone. Sometimes it requires support at the right moment to help students stay focused on their goals.
That belief continues to guide Quick Space/United Rentals, whose ongoing partnership with Western Nevada College is helping students persist, complete their education and prepare for meaningful careers in Northern Nevada.
Based in Sparks, Quick Space/United Rentals has become a valued supporter of WNC students through investments that extend beyond campus events and sponsorship recognition. Through contributions that help fund scholarships, emergency assistance and student-centered programs, the company continues creating opportunities for learners facing real-world challenges while pursuing higher education.
"We believe in Western Nevada College and the positive impact it has on its students and our regional workforce," said Ty Rogers, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Quick Space/United Rentals. "We're proud to play a role in helping students stay on track and achieve their goals."
That commitment has again been visible this summer as Quick Space/United Rentals supports the Western Nevada College Foundation's ninth annual Reach for the Stars Gala: Moonlight Masquerade, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m. in the Joe Dini Library on WNC's Carson City campus.
In addition to serving as a gala partner and providing upscale portable restroom accommodations that enhance the guest experience, the company's support helps strengthen resources that directly benefit students.
Through initiatives such as the Quick Space/United Rentals Scholarship, students receive support that can make a meaningful difference as they balance academics, work, family responsibilities and financial pressures.
"Quick Space/United Rentals understands that student success often depends on removing obstacles and creating opportunities," said Niki Gladys, Chief Advancement Officer at WNC and the Executive Director of the WNC Foundation. "Their partnership reflects a genuine commitment to helping students remain enrolled, complete their education and pursue futures that strengthen our communities."
For WNC, partnerships like this illustrate how local businesses play an important role in educational success and workforce development.
"Partnerships with local businesses like Quick Space and United Rentals demonstrate the powerful impact that community investment can have on higher education and workforce development," said Western Nevada College President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. "When businesses support Western Nevada College and our Foundation, they are doing far more than sponsoring an event; they are helping students access life-changing educational opportunities while strengthening the skilled workforce that drives Northern Nevada's economy. We are deeply grateful for Quick Space and United Rentals' generosity and their commitment to building brighter futures for our students and our communities."
Reach for the Stars has become one of the Foundation's most meaningful annual traditions, bringing together community members, alumni, businesses and supporters to invest in scholarships, student support initiatives and educational opportunity.
This year's Moonlight Masquerade theme promises an elegant evening where celebration and philanthropy come together to help students continue reaching toward their goals.
Tickets are $200 per person, $380 per couple and $1,500 for a table of eight.
