Rocket Forward Day of Giving, The University of Toledo's annual 36-hour fundraising campaign, returns Wednesday, Feb. 18, through Thursday, Feb. 19, to show students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans that The Power To Do is Powered by You.
It is our time to ensure programs, scholarships and experiences that help Rockets thrive continue for years to come. Gifts of all sizes add up to meaningful impact across campus - from student success, innovative research, patient care and community engagement.
Rockets can get involved before the campaign officially kicks off in two important ways:
Give early.
Early giving is open and counts toward the campaign total, helping build momentum heading into Rocket Forward Day of Giving. Early participation demonstrates the collective commitment of our campus community to moving UToledo forward.
Giving is easier than ever with expanded payment options. Along with Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit cards, supporters can now make gifts online directly through their donor-advised fund (DAF). Watch for this new option on or before February 18. Faculty and staff also can give through payroll deduction.
BONUS: the UToledo Foundation will send donors who make a minimum gift of $25 a light-up UToledo charging cable to power your devices-just our way of saying thank you for giving our Rockets The Power To Do.
Become a campaign advocate.
Whether you're a professor, student, researcher or clinician, everyone is encouraged to sign up as a Rocket Advocate and help promote this opportunity through personal and professional networks. Advocates receive easy-to-use tools and pre-built messages to share on social media or via email, making it simple to invite others to support causes they care about most.
More information, including how to give early or sign up as an advocate, is available at give.utoledo.edu.
