Dairyland Receives Forward Fleet Award

Dairyland has received a "Forward Fleet" award from Wisconsin Clean Cities for its strides to incorporate electric and hybrid vehicles into its business fleet, thereby reducing overall emissions.

The award was announced at the Wisconsin Clean Cities Annual Meeting, held in December in Milwaukee. Dairyland Manager, Innovation & Efficient Electrification Jeff Springer and Innovation Engineer I Ethan Kiesling accepted the award on Dairyland's behalf.

Currently, Dairyland's electric vehicle (EV) fleet includes a Ford F-150 Lightning, Nissan Leaf, Toyota BZ4X, Ford Transit van (Powered Printing) and a Mitsubishi Outlander plug-in hybrid SUV.

Supervisor, Fleet Operations Travis Martin reports quick adoption by employees of Dairyland's EV fleet for regional business, including the incorporation of proper charging planning.
