Four City Colleges of Chicago Recognized Among the Best Colleges for Latine Students

Washington Monthly has recognized four City Colleges of Chicago among "America's Best Hispanic-Serving Colleges," highlighting the District's commitment to providing an accessible, affordable, and high-quality education.

Out of 100 colleges, here's how the four recognized City Colleges ranked:

11. Kennedy-King College

36. Malcolm X College

65. Harold Washington College

95. Richard J. Daley College

According to Washington Monthly, Latine students accounted for 80% of the increase in degree attainment nationwide between 2017 and 2022. As the number of Latine students pursuing higher education continues to grow, City Colleges remains committed to creating opportunities for all students to earn college degrees, prepare for careers, transfer to four-year institutions, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.
