VTGOP Chair Calls Molly Gray a "10 for 10 Socialist"

After Molly Gray's appearance on WVMT's Morning Drive Radio program the Green Mountain Democratic Socialists of America released a statement indicating that Gray responded to their survey differently than she represented her views on the air. VTGOP Chairman Paul Dame had the following response:

"It's clear from the DSA themselves that Molly Gray is a 10 for 10 Socialist," said Dame. "She was in agreement with every single question that Vermont Socialists are using as a litmus test for this election. Or at least she was in agreement when she completed the DSA survey during her contested primary. Now that Gray is facing a general election audience she appears to be "playing both sides" and her public answers demonstrate "material differences" according to the DSA, between her answers now and what they were a few weeks ago."

"This confusion represents the essence of Molly Gray's campaign; her positions all depend on who she is talking to at the moment. Is Molly Gray trying to present herself as a moderate - or a Democratic Socialist? It seems to depend who she is talking to - and when."
