Why You Still Need to Carry a Wallet, Even in a Tap-to-Pay World
More Gen Zers are choosing to go wallet-free, with CFP Board Ambassador Elaine King Fuentes, CFP® noting the convenience of traveling light with just a phone. She cautions, however, that not carrying a wallet can be risky, as not all retailers accept digital wallets and transactions may fail during power outages and service interruptions or if the phone dies.
