Auto Care Association to Host Webinar on Practical Cybersecurity for Organizations of All Sizes

BETHESDA, Md. - July 18, 2025 - The Auto Care Association today announced it will host an informative webinar designed to address the cybersecurity considerations for organizations of all sizes. . The webinar, "Reducing Risk and Enhancing Readiness: Practical Cybersecurity for Every Organization," will take place Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 2-3 p.m. ET.

This session will inform individuals and organizations on how to strengthen their cybersecurity practices-no technical expertise required. Whether attendees have faced threats in the past or are simply looking to build better habits, this webinar will offer easy-to-understand tips for staying secure in today's digital landscape.

Attendees of the webinar will be able to:

  • Understand the most common online threats and how they impact organizations;
  • Understand what actionable, practical resources and tools are available to help organizations reduce and manage cybersecurity risks without needing to be a tech expert; and
  • Gain confidence in recognizing and responding to suspicious activity.

    This webinar will be led by Daniel Eliot, lead for small business engagement within the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Applied Cybersecurity Division. In his role, Eliot works across NIST's cybersecurity and privacy program to advise and support development of cybersecurity resources, communication materials, and collateral tailored for use by small businesses. He also regularly works directly with the small business community and their advocates through external outreach and engagement.
