The decree on certain documents related to export control of dual-use items has been approved and will enter into force on 15 April 2026. The decree lays down provisions supplementing the Act on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items (500/2024).
Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio approved the Decree of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs on certain documents related to the export control of dual-use items on 17 March.
The purpose of the decree is to clarify the reporting requirements set out in the EU Regulation and the national Act that apply to all exporters using global and Union general export authorisations. The provisions concern the reporting on the use of global export authorisations and the contents of the notifications and reports related to the internal compliance programme and the use of Union general export authorisations.
The decree will enter into force on 15 April 2026.
