We. Communications Appoints Daniel Blankas Managing Director, Germany

MUNICH - April 23, 2026 - We. Communications today announced the appointment of Daniel Blank as Managing Director, Germany, building on his current role as Head of AI & Digital Innovation, EMEA. In his expanded remit, Blank will lead the agency's Germany business across healthcare, technology and integrated communications, while continuing to shape AI strategy and innovation across the region. He will report to Stephanie Marchesi, President, EMEA.

Blank has played a central role in the growth of We.'s Germany business, serving as its Deputy Managing Director for five years before taking on an international role as EMEA Head of Integrated Marketing. He established the agency's technology sector and digital services capabilities in the German market and provided senior strategic counsel to clients from multiple industries across the region. For the past three years he led We. Communications' global marketing and communications work for the Forest Stewardship Council.

Blank's appointment reflects We.'s continued evolution toward more integrated, agile ways of working, as clients navigate rapid change across sectors and geographies. Under his leadership, the Germany team will further specialize in AI- and digital-first campaigns that span from traditional PR and media relations to multichannel marketing programs.

Blank succeeds Bianca Eichner, who is moving on to new opportunities after more than a decade of leadership with the agency. During her tenure, Eichner was instrumental in shaping and growing We.'s Germany business and establishing its strong position in healthcare and integrated communications.

As part of its continued investment in the market, We. also announced that Nora Kuusik has joined the German team as Account Director, Technology. Kuusik joins from Ketchum, where she spent a decade advising B2B and B2C technology clients, and leading integrated campaigns across brand, media and stakeholder engagement. She will report to Blank and focus on senior advisory support across the agency's technology portfolio.
