Notice of Determination for the Syphon Reservoir Improvement Project
The Department of Water Resources' Division of Safety of Dams has published a Notice of Determination for the Syphon Reservoir Improvement Project (Syphon Canyon Dam No. 1029-5). The proposed work includes the replacement of the existing 59-foot-high Syphon Canyon Dam with a new 138-foot-high dam, along with the construction of new outlet works and spillway.
