West Jordan City Hall has undergone some major renovations. The civic building received a complete overhaul, making the building safer and more accessible to the community.
City Hall had not seen significant upgrades since it first opened more than 30 years ago. The building did not meet the current building and safety code, and accessibility standards, and required extensive renovations to sufficiently meet and accommodate the city's growth.
In addition, the building's original uses have changed dramatically over time. The building was originally built to host the police department, court, and Salt Lake County District Attorney's offices. As service levels have expanded those operations have moved out, but the space had not been updated to account for current staffing needs.
We are so excited to welcome the residents back to their city building - West Jordan City Hall is open for business!
