WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Rep. George Whitesides announced his office is accepting applications for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. Each year, high school students from across the country have the opportunity to submit original artwork to their Congressional office. The winner's art will hang on the walls of the Capitol building for the year. The competition is open to high school students from California's 27th Congressional District and centers around the theme "The Future I Want To See."
