Compost Giveaway Event - November 19th & 20th, 9am-4pm
The City is partnering with its waste hauler, Republic Services, to host free compost giveaway event. Compost will be available on a first come, first serve basis between the hours of 9 AM-4 PM on Wednesday, November 19 through Thursday, November 20, 2025
The event will be held at the Department of Water & Wastewater Resources located at 153 Lake Merced Blvd., Daly City, 94015.
To participate in the compost giveaway, please bring a sturdy container, shovels, and gloves for this self-serve event. Residents must show proof of residency and are limited to five (5) 5-gallon buckets of compost per household.
Events are weather permitting and will be canceled due to rain.
