Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong Held a Courtesy Meeting with Assistant Secretary for Asian and Pacific Affairs of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs
On February 28, 2026, Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong held a courtesy meeting in Beijing with Marshall Louis M. Alferez, Assistant Secretary for Asian and Pacific Affairs of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, during which they exchanged views on China-Philippines relations and other topics.
Liu Jinsong, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, and Hou Yanqi, Director-General of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, also held separate talks with Alferez.
