Call for grant proposals for faculty and students

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs awarded funding for 35 student projects during Winter Quarter, totaling approximately $33,000 in grant awards.

Whether you're an undergraduate ready to begin your first research project, a graduate student pushing the boundaries of knowledge, or a faculty member seeking to expand your impact, funding is available Spring Quarter through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programsto take the next step! Apply for support and turn your vision into reality! Applications for faculty and students (undergraduate and graduate) are due Wednesday, April 15th at 5:00 pm. Faculty Funding Opportunities:

The Pilot Project Grant Programoffers faculty up to $5,000 to seed projects with potential to open new long-term directions for research, creative expression, or scholarship at WWU. Questions? Reach out to [email protected].

Applications for Manuscript Preparation(up to $2,500), Mini Grants(up to $2,000), and New Initiatives Grants(up to $10,000) applications are accepted at any time. Please allow 30 days from the time of submission for review and notification.

The Undergraduate Research and Creative Opportunities Grant Programprovides up to $750 for students to engage in research, scholarly and creative work that has the potential to significantly impact the student's educational goals. For Graduate Students

The Graduate Research and Creative Opportunities Grant Programprovides up to $1,500 for students to engage in research, scholarly and creative work that could significantly impact their educational goals. Funding requests must be relevant to the student's individual work and represent support that is not available to the applicant through their academic department or college. Questions?
