American Beverage Statement on the President’s State of the Union Address

WASHINGTON - American Beverage today issued the following statement in response to the President's State of the Union address:

"America's beverage companies are encouraged by the President's emphasis on domestic investment and job creation. That's what America's beverage companies have been doing for over 100 years. We're American companies making American products with American workers in America's hometowns. We need economic policies that spur growth and security for these high-quality American jobs and the products these workers make. Our companies provide 275,000 good-paying jobs - pathways to middle-class stability in every American community - and we support 4.5 million more across the broader economy."
