Please see the resources below if you have been displaced or otherwise affected by the recent flooding in Central Texas.
The Leander Chamber of Commerce is supplying food, water and clothing to those affected by the flooding in Travis County. They are also providing grants to those who lost their homes and need financial assistance for short term or long term housing.
Burnet County's Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) has gathered multiple organizations under one roof to help affected individuals and families. More information can be found in the flyers linked below.

If your home was damaged or destroyed in the floods, your first step is to call your insurance company and file a claim. Please note that flooding is not covered under most homeowners' and renters' insurance policies, unless you have a separate flood insurance policy.
If you are uninsured or your claim is denied, you may file for assistance from FEMA DisasterAssistance.gov. You can also apply through the FEMA mobile app or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
TSAHC provides grants to local housing nonprofits that provide home repairs and accessibility modifications, including repairs to homes that have been damaged by natural disasters.
Please note that TSAHC has fully expended our FY2025 Disaster Recovery and annual grant funding allocations. We will send an email to our nonprofit network if additional resources become available.
We anticipate our disaster recovery application will reopen on September 1, 2025. Please join our mailing list to be notified of funding opportunities.
Please note that TSAHC is unable to assist households directly with home repairs. If you are an individual in need of home repairs, you can view a list of our local nonprofit partners here.
To contribute to the local relief efforts, we recommend the following local funds:
Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
San Angelo Disaster Relief Fund
Wilco Cares Flood Relief Fund
If you are interested in supporting TSAHC's long-term recovery efforts, you can also make a contribution in support of our Texas Foundations Fund here: https://www.tsahc.org/donors-investors/donate-now. Every dollar contributed to the Texas Foundations Fund goes directly to nonprofits providing disaster recovery services.
