SIPRI Yearbook 2025 summary: Now available in nine languages

As part of SIPRI's efforts to counter disinformation, the summary of SIPRI Yearbook 2025 is now available in English, Arabic, Catalan, Chinese, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian. Summaries in other languages will be added as they become available.

The SIPRI Yearbook is a compendium of cutting-edge information and analysis on developments in armaments, disarmament and international security. The 56th edition was released in June this year and analyses the continuing deterioration of global security in 2024. Key findings of SIPRI Yearbook 2025 are that a dangerous new nuclear arms race is emerging at a time when arms control regimes are severely weakened.

SIPRI is grateful to its translation partners: the Centre for Arab Unity Studies (Arabic), the Flemish Peace Institute (Dutch), FundiPau (Catalan and Spanish) and the Razumkov Centre (Ukrainian Centre for Economic and Political Studies) (Ukrainian).
