Modernization milestone at Miami International Airport

We're thrilled to announce the successful modernization of multiple Schindler units at Miami International Airport, marking a major milestone in long-term infrastructure priorities.

This extensive project-celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony-includes upgrades to traction and hydraulic elevators, INTRUSS® escalator modernizations, and the replacement of existing moving walks with Schindler 9500-20 pitless moving walks. In total, 22 conveyance units were turned over through a combination of modernization, rip-and-replace efforts, and major repairs.

This achievement is the result of months of coordinated effort across planning, execution, and quality assurance, all delivered with a focus on elevating the passenger experience. From initial planning to final execution, every phase reflects our local modernization team's unwavering commitment to innovation, precision, and excellence.
