Subject to AS 38.05.555, this office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT:Cruz Construction Inc.

PROJECT NAME: ADL 422781

DESIGNATED MATERIAL SITE: ADL 418803

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Southeast of Putuligayuk River, approximately 1 mile south of Prudhoe Bay (Eastern Operating Area). Latitude: 70 deg 17'33.3" Longitude: 148 deg 31' 20.6" Beechey Point B-3 (NAD-83)

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

Section 14: E½SW¼ excluding lands lying west of the Putuligayuk River, and W½SE¼ excluding those lands north of the Putuligayuk River; existing power lines, pipelines and roads; and all lands lying east of said pipeline;

Section 22: NE¼SE¼ excluding lands lying west of the Putuligayuk River;

Section 23: W½NE¼ excluding the existing power line, pipelines and Oxbow Road;

and all lands lying east of said electrical lines, and NW¼ excluding lands north of the Putuligayuk River and lands approved for conveyance,

within Township 11 North, Range 14 East, Umiat Meridian.

QUANTITY REQUESTED: 50,000 cubic yards

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Extraction and processing of materials

REQUESTED TERM: Five (5) years

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 11, 2026

DMLW is seeking information related to the extraction of material from this site that may assist in the development of specific operating/reclamation requirements for the site, or identifying any multiple land use issues that may need to be addressed prior to issuance of this or future contracts.

To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
