Open House: Village Center Comprehensive Plan Update

Wednesday, August 27 5:00-7:00p.m.
Village Hall Lobby (1st floor)

Share your feedback to shape the future of Roselle's downtown!

Why is the Village hosting this open house?

Since creating the 2016 Comprehensive Plan, the Village has completed many of the goals outlined for downtown Roselle. With the Village and Library land swap agreement, construction of the pedestrian bridge connecting Main St. to the Metra Station, and opening of the Metro 19 residences, the Village is developing an updated plan for the Village Center sub-area to guide redevelopment efforts in downtown Roselle.

Who is involved?

The Village has worked with the Library, Roselle Park District, and residents and business owners within Village Center to ensure their opinions and perspectives are taken into account. The Village is working with the same consultant who developed the 2016 Comprehensive Plan to update the Village Center sub-area plan.

What's next?

After collecting feedback at the Aug. 27 open house, our consultant will present a draft report to the Village Board for discussion at a future meeting. Village Board meeting agendas are shared online at www.roselle.il.us/agendacenter.
