John Cusano named Managing Partner of Dentons’ Calgary office

Dentons, Canada's Global Law Firm, announces the appointment of John Cusano as Office Managing Partner (OMP) in Calgary, effective October 1, 2025.

A partner and past leader of the Calgary Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, John brings more than two decades of experience advising clients in the financial services sector, acting for leading financial institutions, successfully defending against claims of fraud, breach of contract, negligence and other complex litigation and risk issues.

John succeeds George Tai, who will remain an integral partner of the Firm, continuing his practice in M&A and securities and corporate finance, particularly in the energy and technology sectors.
