Jamie Cornish Named FHLB Des Moines Chief Audit Executive

Jamie Cornish has been named the new Chief Audit Executive at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines or the Bank). Jamie has more than 13 years of professional experience and will oversee the Bank's Internal Audit Department.

"I am thrilled to have Jamie join the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines," says Kris Williams, president and chief executive officer, FHLB Des Moines. "She has a strong understanding of the financial services industry and a proven track record in leading Audit teams. She's also a collaborator and experienced leader, which will make her a great addition to our team."

Most recently, Jamie served as Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. Prior to that, she held a number of leadership roles within the company.

Jamie is a graduate from the University of Northern Iowa with degrees in Accounting and Economics. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants (ISCPA) and an Audit Committee Member for the Des Moines Public Schools.
