MUPD to Attend National Night Out

The Millersville University Police Department will participate in Millersville Borough's National Night Out from 6 to 8 p.m., Aug. 4, behind Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home on North George Street and in the Borough Municipal Building parking lot, located at 100 Municipal Drive. The rain date is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 5. Officer Ivan Gonzales and K-9 trauma dog Brooks are scheduled to attend the event.

The theme of the free event this year is 'Back to School Safety'. National Night Out fosters connections between local community residents and first responders, further supporting community safety. Attendees can expect free hot dogs donated by John Herr's Village Market, live music, games, a tour of the Millersville Borough Police Department and giveaways.
