Portland bars and restaurants join citywide celebration for Dolly Parton Day on September 25 with special drinks, food, live music, and opportunities to support children's literacy

Portland, Oregon, September 23, 2026 - Following Council President Jamie Dunphy's proclamation, supported by Mayor Wilson, to recognize Friday, September 25, 2026, as Dolly Parton Day, restaurants, bars, music venues, and community partners across Portland are joining the celebration with Dolly-inspired food and drinks, live music, costumes, and charitable giving.
September 25, or 9/25, honors Dolly Parton through her iconic song and film "9 to 5." Portland businesses are embracing the spirit of the day with a little creativity, a lot of rhinestones, and plenty of ways for Portlanders to celebrate Dolly's music, generosity, and legacy.

Council President Dunphy's Office and the City of Portland thanks each participating business and community partner for helping make Dolly Parton Day a citywide celebration.
