Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency met with the Ambassador of France to Thailand

On 11 April 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Poimbœuf, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand, along with representatives from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), during a courtesy call to congratulate the Director-General on his assumption of duty.

Both sides exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation, such as air quality improvement, climate change adaptation, blue economy based on sustainable use of marine resources, and other environmental issues. They also expressed readiness to jointly develop the next 3-Year Development Cooperation Work Plan between the two agencies, which will serve as an important mechanism to advance the Thailand-France Strategic Partnership at the bilateral, trilateral and regional levels, particularly in the Mekong sub-region and Southeast Asia region.

In addition, both sides welcomed the growing momentum of Thailand-France development cooperation, under the current 3-Year Work Plan (2023-2025) between TICA and the AFD.
