Permanent Secretary Pulkkinen to Australia and New Zealand
Permanent Secretary of Finland's Ministry of Defence Esa Pulkkinen will lead a trade mission of Finnish defence industry to Australia and visit New Zealand between 30 October and 7 November 2025.
The trade mission is an opportunity for Finnish companies specialising in defence technology and dual-use technology to network with key defence and security operators in Australia and New Zealand. The Permanent Secretary and the business delegation will also attend Indo Pacific 2025, an international defence and commercial maritime exposition.
The business delegation will have twelve Finnish companies in the defence technology and dual-use technology sectors. The trade mission is organised by Business Finland in collaboration with the Team Finland network, the Defence and Digital Resilience programme of Business Finland and the Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries (AFDA).
From Australia, the Permanent Secretary will be travelling to New Zealand, where he will meet with representatives of New Zealand's Ministry of Defence and Defence Forces.
