Telephone conversation with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov
During the conversation, Vladimir Putin extended warmhearted birthday greetings to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The presidents reaffirmed mutual commitment to taking further comprehensive efforts to enhance Russia-Turkmenistan strategic partnership.
The conversation focused on preparations for major upcoming international events to take place in Russia and Turkmenistan in October: the CIS Background informationCommonwealth of Independent States (CIS)summit in Moscow, the BRICS Background informationBRICSsummit in Kazan, and the forum in Ashgabat to mark the 300th birthday of renowned Turkmen philosophical poet Magtymguly Pyragy.
Vladimir Putin also sent a message of greetings to Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday.
