In observance of the winter holidays, Yuma City Hall will be closed Thursday, December 25; Friday, December 26; and Thursday, January 1. Additionally, City hall will be closed Friday, January 2, as part of its rotating Friday schedule.
Residents with Thursday recycling pickup will have collection one day early on Wednesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 31. Residents with Friday recycling service will experience no changes during either holiday week.
Garbage collection will take place as normal on Monday and Tuesday during both holiday weeks.
The City encourages residents to help spread the word about the early recycling pickup dates with neighbors, friends, families and coworkers who may normally receive Thursday service.
Residents can continue to access many City services while City Hall is closed by visiting https://www.yumaaz.gov. Through the City website, residents can read official City documents, pay utility bills, register for Parks and Recreation programs and more. A self-serve kiosk for utility payments accepting cash, credit or debit is available 24 hours a day outside the main entrance of City Hall.
In addition, residents may submit non-emergency service requests such as street repair, graffiti, vandalism, streetlight outages, road sign repair and more directly online with Yuma Click and Fix.
