An Action Plan for the Development of SCO Ports and Logistics Centers is being discussed by SCO experts

On February 25, 2026, an expert meeting was held via videoconference, chaired by the Kazakhstan side, to discuss the draft Action Plan (Roadmap) for the Development of Ports and Logistics Centers of the SCO Member States for 2026-2030.
The parties reached a common vision on a number of provisions of the document and agreed to continue discussions.
Discussion on the Action Plan is being carried out in accordance with the Concept of Cooperation of the SCO Member States in the Field of Port and Logistics Center Development, aimed at promoting economic growth through the development of accessible, efficient, and safe transport and logistics services that meet domestic and international transportation needs based on fairness, reciprocity, and cooperation.
For now a list of major ports and logistics centers of the SCO member states has been compiled.
